Acts of Hesed, Inc. is a charitable organization, providing equine therapies to underserved populations who otherwise might not have the ability to cover the expenses related to equine therapy. We solely depend on grants and the charitable giving of others to support the organization. There is no donation too big or too small.
HOW ARE THE DONATIONS USED?
Donations are used to cover the many costs associated with caring for the horses and providing financial assistance to the people we serve, namely those who are in recovery, struggling with PTSD, ADHD, Trauma or who are neurodiverse.
Here are some examples of how your funds are allocated:
Send one person or youth through a six week – 60 minute sessions- treatment program of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
Provide hay for the horses for one month.
Provide Barn and Property maintenance and repair for one year.
Send a group (up to six people) through a six week – 60 minute sessions- treatment program of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
